What Is FreeBluRayTrading.com?
- FreeBluRayTrading.com, or FBRT, serves as a platform designed for the organized trading of Blu-Ray movies by individuals.
- It is free to join, and free to use.
- Only registered users may use FBRT services.
- The use of FBRT services constitutes acceptance of all FBRT policies detailed herein.
How Does It Work?
- Register for an account here. Activate your account - you will be emailed a link. Log in at FreeBluRayTrading.com.
- Add some Blu-Rays to your Tradelist. The Tradelist is for Blu-Rays you own that you want to trade. When you add Blu-Rays to your Tradelist, they show up as "Available For Trade" and users who have added those titles to their Wishlists are notified automatically.
- At some point, users will begin requesting Blu-Rays from your Tradelist.
- In the meantime, start adding Blu-Rays to your Wishlist by browsing the Blu-Ray library.
How Do Trades Work?
- Users play one of two roles during a trade:
- Sender (the user who lists a Blu-Ray for trade)
- Recipient (the user who requests the Blu-Ray)
- Sender (the user who lists a Blu-Ray for trade)
- Credits are the currency of FBRT, you need them to request Blu-Rays. You get credits when...
- You send a Blu-Ray from your Tradelist and the Recipient marks it as received, you get 1 credit
- You have added 5 Blu-Rays to your Tradelist, you get 2 bonus credits
- You refer an active member, you get 2 bonus credits
Sender Policy
- When a user requests a Blu-Ray, the Sender should respond to the trade request within 1-2 days.
- If the Sender is unable to ship a Blu-Ray that has been requested within 2-3 days, the Sender should decline the request.
- Users can place their account in "Vacation Mode" if they will be unable to answer trade requests for some time.
- Users shall not trade Blu-Rays that are not in "good" condition. See below for more details.
Recipient Policy
- Recipients should promptly mark Blu-Rays as received when they arrive in the mail.
- The Sender does not receive credit until the item is marked as received.
- Should a Recipient receive a Blu-Ray that is not in good condition, a replacement credit will be given to the Recipient. See below for more details.
"Good" Condition Policy
- Users shall trade only Blu-Rays that are in "good" condition.
- FBRT defines "good" condition as thus:
- Blu-Rays shall be free from major scratches and smudges.
- Blu-Rays shall NOT SKIP when played.
- The case and original cover art shall be included, intact and without major scratches or blemishes.
- Users should use their own judgment when determining if a Blu-Ray is in "good" condition.
- If you receive a Blu-Ray that is not in good condition, you will receive a free credit when you mark the item as "received".
- Users who fail to abide by these policies by engaging in the following behavior may have their account privileges suspended or revoked without notice.
- Trading Blu-Rays which are not in "good" condition.
- Abusing the system by requesting free credits too often.
Thank you for using common sense and courtesy with your fellow FBRT traders. - FBRT Management.
